Exhibits

All of the paintings we display online and in person, are for sale.

 

We have permanent physical exhibits at:

•Dogwood Pavilion:
    •west side corridor gallery, and
    •exhibit cabinet beside the side entrance

•Glen Pine Pavilion:
    •2nd floor corridor gallery

We exhibit 15 pieces of art works by our members at each gallery, changed at various times through the year.

 

 

Membership Guidelines

We welcome all levels of artists whether you have painted for years, or are just trying your hand at painting.

To join our club, you must be a 50-Plus member of Dogwood Pavilion.
(The annual pass fee for Dogwood is very reasonable.)

The Coquitlam Art Club's annual member fee is $25.00, due upon joining and renewed every January.

The membership allows the artist to attend our weekly Wednesday afternoon painting group, scheduled demo's by artists, art shows, workshops, and critiques.

 

Please note: our club follows Dogwood Pavilion COVID-19 regulations. Please check their site for the latest information.

 

 

Meetings & Paint Times

•Wednesday morning drop-ins:
$1, payable in group

•Wednesday afternoon painting group:
12:30pm to 3:30pm

•Thursday afternoon Zoom group:
Due to COVID-19, our group also started holding bi-weekly Zoom meetings, where we share our latest work and the latest news, online. (Subject to change.)

•Our ANNUAL AGM was held Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

(Note: no afternoon painting takes place on meeting days.)

History

The Coquitlam Art Club was started in 2007 at the Dogwood Pavilion and has approximately 35 active members.

We meet every Wednesday afternoon at the Dogwood Pavilion to enjoy comradeship with fellow artists.
